SPECIAL HOUR FOR AT-RISK SHOPPERS
Beginning on Monday, July 20 and continuing indefinitely, Schnucks is reserving the 6 AM to 7 AM shopping hour on Mondays and Thursdays for shopping by seniors aged 60 and above, and for those who are most at risk of COVID-19. (Please note our EatWell location in Columbia, Missouri, hosts their shopping hour on Wednesdays from 7AM – 8AM.)
We have heard from many of these customers who have expressed their concern about potential exposure and we want to do what we can to help. By allowing seniors and those who are most at risk to be the first in our stores, we hope we can make it just a little bit easier for them to feel comfortable while picking up the groceries and household items they need. We are asking all of our customers to assist us in supporting those in our communities who are most vulnerable. Thank you for your cooperation and for continuing to choose Schnucks.

CUSTOMERS NOW REQUIRED TO WEAR FACE COVERINGS
With a focus on the health and safety of our customers and teammates, we are taking the necessary step of requiring all customers to wear a face covering while shopping in our stores. This requirement will take effect on Monday, July 20 at all 113 of our Schnucks locations in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Iowa, and will include exceptions for young children and those with medical conditions who are unable to wear a face covering.
In an effort to support our customers who need to shop but do not have a facial covering at that time, we will be providing complimentary masks–one per customer–for a limited time and while supplies last. More information about our updated face coverings requirement can be found here.

ST. LOUIS COUNTY AND CITY FACE COVERING ORDER
Schnucks supplies teammates with facemasks to be worn while at work at all Schnucks locations. Schnucks will post signage at the entrances of our stores in St. Louis City and St. Louis County instructing customers that, per the order of City and County health officials, they must wear a face covering while inside our stores. A Schnucks teammate may approach customers as they enter our stores to remind them of this requirement. If a customer does not comply, out of concerns for our teammates’ safety, we have instructed them not to confront noncompliant customers. Teammates are empowered to contact local authorities to report violations inside our stores.

REUSABLE BAGS NOT ACCEPTED
Beginning April 9, and out of an abundance of caution during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will no longer allow customers to bring reusable bags into the stores. While there are no known cases of the virus being spread through the use of reusable bags, we are taking this extra step as a precautionary measure. Thank you for allowing us to bag your groceries in our paper or plastic bags during this time.

Shopper Limits to Be Implemented April 4: One Shopper Per Household
In a continuing effort to encourage social distancing, starting today, Schnucks began limiting the number of customers inside our stores by asking that there be only one shopper per household when possible.
While it is our hope that customers will understand and abide by this policy, we also recognize that there are situations where it is simply not possible – be it a single parent who has no childcare options, an elderly customer who needs assistance from a friend or relative, or a customer with other needs. Our store teams are being asked to exercise judgment in these situations, in order to ensure that all of our customers are able to complete their shopping trip, while also balancing that with the need to ensure that we are doing all that we can to increase the practice of safe social distancing. Thank you in advance for your understanding. We’re all in this together.

INSTALLING ADDITIONAL PROTECTIVE MEASURES
Beginning Monday, March 23, Schnucks customers will notice additional safety measures being implemented across our stores. Temporary window panels will be installed at our checklanes, pharmacy counters, and operating service counters. These plexiglass barriers will help provide an additional layer of protection for both our teammates and customers. Installation of these barriers will be completed in all stores by Monday, March 30.
As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we will continue to evaluate our protective measures to ensure a safe environment for all.
Additional Store Status Updates
COURTESY CENTER UPDATES
Please call your local Schnucks location to check today's Courtesy Center hours. Please note the Courtesy Center may temporarily be closed so we can deploy those teammates to help at our checkout lanes.
As we continue to see increased demand for many products, we are not currently accepting exchanges on certain items including, but not limited to, water, toilet paper, canned goods, and antibacterial products. We will continue to offer exchanges or returns on products that do not meet freshness or quality expectations.
We are also not currently issuing rainchecks at this time, due to supplier shortages, and because we cannot guarantee that advertised items will be in stock.
We continue to work closely with suppliers to get items on our shelves as quickly as possible, and we thank our customers for understanding.
Rug Doctor and Redbox Updates
Rug Doctor rentals and Redbox are temporarily unavailable effective immediately at all Schnucks locations.
LOTTERY SALES UPDATE
In an effort to limit cash handling by teammates, and to further promote social distancing by reducing the formation of lines at the courtesy center, Schnucks is temporarily suspending the sale of lottery tickets at our courtesy centers and will also no longer cash winning lottery tickets that are in excess of $300.
Customers wishing to purchase lottery tickets may continue to use the self-service vending machines. Customers who wish to cash winning lottery tickets for amounts greater than $300 should check with their state’s lottery for redemption options.
Thank you for understanding.
Please note that our Bettendorf, IA store will temporarily suspend all lottery sales and redemptions until further notice.
