COMMUNITY FACEMASK REQUEST

For the safety of our community and teammates, Schnucks is encouraging customers to wear a face covering for their nose and mouth while shopping in our stores. Here is a video from Dr. Adams, U.S. Surgeon General, on how to make a face covering with items found around the house.

REUSABLE BAGS NOT ACCEPTED

Beginning April 9, and out of an abundance of caution during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will no longer allow customers to bring reusable bags into the stores. While there are no known cases of the virus being spread through the use of reusable bags, we are taking this extra step as a precautionary measure. Thank you for allowing us to bag your groceries in our paper or plastic bags during this time.

Update: Saturday, April 4, 2020

Shopper Limits to Be Implemented April 4: One Shopper Per Household

In a continuing effort to encourage social distancing, starting today, Schnucks began limiting the number of customers inside our stores by asking that there be only one shopper per household when possible.

While it is our hope that customers will understand and abide by this policy, we also recognize that there are situations where it is simply not possible – be it a single parent who has no childcare options, an elderly customer who needs assistance from a friend or relative, or a customer with other needs. Our store teams are being asked to exercise judgment in these situations, in order to ensure that all of our customers are able to complete their shopping trip, while also balancing that with the need to ensure that we are doing all that we can to increase the practice of safe social distancing. Thank you in advance for your understanding. We’re all in this together.

Update: Monday, March 23, 2020

INSTALLING ADDITIONAL PROTECTIVE MEASURES

Beginning Monday, March 23, Schnucks customers will notice additional safety measures being implemented across our stores. Temporary window panels will be installed at our checklanes, pharmacy counters, and operating service counters. These plexiglass barriers will help provide an additional layer of protection for both our teammates and customers. Installation of these barriers will be completed in all stores by Monday, March 30.

As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we will continue to evaluate our protective measures to ensure a safe environment for all.

Update: Tuesday, March 17, 2020

SPECIAL HOUR FOR AT-RISK SHOPPERS

Beginning on Wednesday, March 18 and continuing indefinitely, Schnucks is reserving the first hour of each day – from 6 AM to 7 AM – for shopping by seniors aged 60 and above, and for those who are most at risk of COVID-19.

We have heard from many of these customers who have expressed their concern about potential exposure and we want to do what we can to help. By allowing seniors and those who are most at risk to be the first in our stores, we hope we can make it just a little bit easier for them to feel comfortable while picking up the groceries and household items they need. We are asking all of our customers to assist us in supporting those in our communities who are most vulnerable. Thank you for your cooperation and for continuing to choose Schnucks.

Additional Store Status Updates

COURTESY CENTER UPDATES

Please call your local Schnucks location to check today's Courtesy Center hours. Please note the Courtesy Center may temporarily be closed so we can deploy those teammates to help at our checkout lanes.

SCHNUCKS PHARMACY HOURS UPDATE

Beginning Monday, March 23, Schnucks in-store retail pharmacies will be open 6 AM - 6 PM on Mondays AND Thursdays so that seniors and those with underlying health conditions can also visit the pharmacy when shopping during the 6 - 7 AM hour. These pharmacies will observe their regular hours all other days.

Please note that this does NOT include the Culinaria pharmacy in downtown St. Louis, the standalone pharmacy in Union, MO or any specialty pharmacy. Hours at these locations will not change.

REFUNDS/EXCHANGES, RAINCHECKS

As we continue to see increased demand for many products, we are not currently accepting exchanges on certain items including, but not limited to, water, toilet paper, canned goods, and antibacterial products. We will continue to offer exchanges or returns on products that do not meet freshness or quality expectations.

We are also not currently issuing rainchecks at this time, due to supplier shortages, and because we cannot guarantee that advertised items will be in stock.

We continue to work closely with suppliers to get items on our shelves as quickly as possible, and we thank our customers for understanding.

SCHNUCKS FLORAL ONLINE ORDER UPDATE

Schnucks Floral will not be accepting online or in-app orders until further notice. Please visit your local Schnucks floral department for cash-and-carry flower items.

Rug Doctor and Redbox Updates

Rug Doctor rentals and Redbox are temporarily unavailable effective immediately at all Schnucks locations.

LOTTERY SALES UPDATE

In an effort to limit cash handling by teammates, and to further promote social distancing by reducing the formation of lines at the courtesy center, Schnucks is temporarily suspending the sale of lottery tickets at our courtesy centers and will also no longer cash winning lottery tickets that are in excess of $300.

Customers wishing to purchase lottery tickets may continue to use the self-service vending machines. Customers who wish to cash winning lottery tickets for amounts greater than $300 should check with their state’s lottery for redemption options.

Thank you for understanding.

Please note that our Bettendorf, IA store will temporarily suspend all lottery sales and redemptions until further notice.
