Triple Smash Burger

Take your smashburgers to the next level with this tasty recipe. Start with Schweid & Sons perfectly portioned 2.5 oz. Sliders or The Signature Blend 5.3 oz. Burgers. Smash the beef on a hot griddle or flat top for maximum crispiness and add your favorite toppings. We went with a tangy sauce then to tie it all together.

Triple Smash Burger

Ingredients

  • 3 (2.5 oz) Schweid & SonsⓇ The Signature Blend Sliders or The Signature Blend 5.3oz Burgers
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. yellow mustard
  • 1/2 small onion, grated
  • 1 tbsp. hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 hamburger bun
  • 3 slices American cheese
  • pickles, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat a cast iron skillet or flat top griddle to medium high heat. If using our 2.5 oz Sliders, then no prep is needed and you're ready to smash! If you're using our 5.3 oz Burgers, tightly pack the Burgers into balls then smash on the hot surface with a spatula.
  2. Make the special sauce by whisking together the mayonnaise, mustard, grated onion, hot sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Set aside.
  3. Increase the heat to high. Butter buns and quickly toast on the griddle. Remove and set aside.
  4. Place three burgers on flat top and flatten with a metal spatula. Allow to cook for a couple minutes, then spoon 1-2 tablespoons of your special sauce onto burgers and flip. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes, then add a slice of cheese to each burger patty.
  5. Once melted, stack burgers and plan on bun. Top with additional special sauce and pickles if you like!
