These skewers are perfect for a special occasion or dinner for two.
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
- 24 fresh mozzarella bocconcini
- 24 basil leaves
- 24 strawberries. hulled
- 12 wooden skewers
- In small saucepan, heat vinegar and sugar to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat to medium-low and cook 15 minutes or until reduced by half. Makes about 1/4 cup.
- Alternately thread 2 of each mozzarella, basil and strawberries onto each skewer. Arrange on serving platter; drizzle with balsamic reduction.
