Schnucks to Spring Forward with Longer Operating Hours
Company also announces extended service department hours as well as Easter holiday closure

ST. LOUIS, March 11, 2022 – Beginning Monday, March 14, most Schnucks stores will return to a 10 p.m. closing time, which is one hour later than previously scheduled. Also on March 14, most Schnucks deli, meat and seafood department service counters will be open to serve customers 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily.

One-hundred and three Schnucks locations will begin operating with 6 a.m. – 10 p.m. hours on Monday. Stores with alternate hours include: City Plaza, Sierra Vista, Downtown, Eat Well, Jasper, Cahokia, Evansville North and Darmstadt.

Most deli, meat and seafood department service counters will be open daily from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., with some stores either opening at 9 a.m. or closing at 7 p.m. Customers can verify store operating and service department hours on the Schnucks website and via the Schnucks Rewards mobile app.

“We know that as the days become longer and families begin to have more spring and summer activities, we’ll see the volume of shoppers return later in the evening,” said Ted Schnuck, Executive Vice President, Supermarkets. “With the return to a 10 p.m. close, along with longer service department hours for deli, meat and seafood, we are ensuring that we meet our customers’ needs with more options to shop for the products they love.”

Easter Holiday
Schnucks is also announcing that all stores will be closed again on Easter Sunday, April 17, in order for teammates to have time with their families and loved ones. Stores will reopen at their normally scheduled time on Monday, April 18.

Career Fair
On Thursday, March 31, from 1 – 5 p.m., Schnucks is hosting a company-wide career fair at all stores as well as the Schnucks Bakery Plant to hire for a variety of positions offering flexible schedules, career advancement, daily pay option, tuition reimbursement, health benefits (after a qualifying period) and other teammate perks. Most positions are part-time to start. No experience is necessary.
