The Anderson Family

Indiana

Mary Grace Anderson is a sophomore studying Nursing at Ivey Tech Community College in Anderson, Indiana. She grew up in Anderson, Indiana and has made volunteering in her community a top priority in her life. Gracie hopes to combine dance therapy with her Nursing degree upon graduation to help people. When she is not focusing on her studies, she enjoys dancing, working with children-specifically special needs children, and helping people.

Missouri

Jordan Hurt is a junior from Florissant, Missouri, majoring in Civil Engineering at the University of Missouri – St. Louis, Missouri. Jordan is very dedicated to whatever he puts his mind to. All his friends and family say he is dependable and a goal-achiever. In his free time when he is not focusing on his studies, Jordan enjoys golf, baseball, basketball, soccer, and running.

Illinois

Brandon Ledyard is a sophomore studying Business at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois. He calls Lindenhurst, Illinois home and where he spent his time playing hockey in high school. His friends describe him as “strong headed”, “driven”, and “goofy”. Upon graduation he hopes to work as an IT Security Manger. When Brandon is not focusing on his studies, he enjoys playing hockey, golf, football, baseball, basketball, hunting, and boating.

Missouri

McKenzie MacMillan is a senior from O’Fallon, Missouri and is majoring in Pre-Nursing/Health Sciences at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. In her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, she is the dance chair where she gets to continue her passion for dance. When she is not focusing on her studies McKenzie enjoys dancing and pouring into the needs of young children, volunteering as a YMCA Camp Counselor.

Missouri

Sara McLaren is a freshman from Wentzville, Missouri. She is attending St. Charles Community College in Cottleville, Missouri. Sara is currently getting her basics done and in the process of deciding what career field interest her the most. Sara’s mom and dad describe her as “sweet”, and “sociable” but also “mature” and “responsible”. When not focusing on her studies Sara enjoys soccer, running, dancing, cheerleading, painting, and reading.

Jeanne Meneses-Brown is a Senior in college studying Nuclear Medicine Technology at Indiana University Purdue University- Indianapolis, Indiana. She calls Greenwood, Indiana home and her friends would describe her as, “spontaneous and resourceful”, her family would describe her as, “compassionate and dependable”. When she is not focusing on her studies, she enjoys baseball, volleyball and going to the batting cages.

Abigail Richards is a junior studying Neuroscience at University of Iowa-Iowa City, IA. She calls Morton, Illinois home and began her love for watching sports in high school. Her friends and family would say that she is quiet and soft spoken, but she likes to think she is always prepared. When she is not focusing on her studies, she enjoys football, basketball, and is a big Iowa Hawkeye sports fan.

Noah Shahadey is a sophomore studying Contemporary Dance at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Noah graduated high school in Bloomington, Indiana where he was a part of the National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Student Council, Cougar Council, Habitat for Humanity, Riley Dance Marathon, and Best Buddies. Upon graduation from college, Noah plans to audition and dance on a cruise ship and become the entertainment director.

Collin Smith is a junior studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Collin grew up and graduated high school in Morton, Illinois. Since he was little, he has only wanted to go to one college. Because he knew from the very beginning that was his dream, he only applied to University of Alabama. In his free time when he is not focusing on his studies, he enjoys football, baseball, basketball, and NASCAR.
