Every fall thousands of children in our area return to school without the proper supplies they need in order to be successful in the classroom. By partnering with KidSmart, we’ve organized the “Push For Pencils” drive to help these students start off the school year on the right foot.

These are the items most needed by KidSmart Kids to help equip them for a successful school year: Pencils, Crayons, Markers, Glue, Loose Leaf Paper, Spiral Notebooks, Backpacks, Pocket Folders, Colored Pencils, Pencil Boxes, Scissors and Pens.

What is KidSmart?

KidSmartLogo

KidSmart currently serves more than 150 schools in 10 districts throughout the St. Louis area by distributing school supplies through teachers who shop at KidSmart’s Free Store once a month. After shopping, teachers distribute the materials directly into the hands of kids in need. Schools qualify to be a part of the KidSmart program if 70% or more of the children are on the Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program.

Learn more here.
