Celebrate Galentine’s Day

Posted In: Holidays

“What’s Galentine’s Day? Oh, it’s only the best day of the year!”

“Galentine’s Day”, made famous by Pawnee, Indiana’s Leslie Knope from the comedy show Parks and Recreation, has transcended the fourth wall and become an established holiday in today’s culture. It falls on February 13, and is celebrated as a day of ladies celebrating ladies.

According to Leslie Knope, there’s no better way to kick it on Galentine’s Day than breakfast-style, complete with every delicious morning-starter you and your ladies love. (If you’re Leslie Knope, we’re assuming JJ’s waffles made the must-have breakfast items.) Galentine’s Day has served as a much-needed reminder to people that it’s important to celebrate all relationships in your life, especially friendships.

If it was up to us, every day would be Galentine’s Day. But since we can’t have that, we’ll settle for Galentine’s Day falling on our favorite day of the week: Winesday. Galentine’s Day and Winesday go together like Leslie Knope and Ann Perkins. This Galentine’s Day, celebrate in style with 15% off six or more 750ml bottles of wine. And yes, you can mix and match so everyone gets the bottle of wine they really want.

Stop by your local Schnucks this Galentine’s Day to take advantage of this match made in heaven. And while you’re at it — check out our Schnucks brand waffles (and whipped cream, of course) and breakfast foods so you have the most delicious Galentine’s Day around.
