1 tbsp. chili paste
1 tbsp. Schnucks honey
1 tsp. Schnucks soy sauce
1-2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
1 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
1 lb. ground turkey
½ cup red onion, cut into slivers
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 stalk celery, thinly sliced
1 Serrano pepper, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. fresh mint leaves, chopped
salt and pepper
1 head iceberg lettuce, leaves separated
2 tbsp. cilantro, coarsely chopped
- In a small bowl, whisk all the ingredients for the dressing. Set aside.
- Brown ground turkey in a large nonstick skillet on medium heat, until cooked through. Add red and green onions, celery and Serrano pepper. Cook until the vegetables begin to soften.
- Add the dressing to turkey mixture in skillet and cook 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the mint. Season with salt and pepper.
- Divide and spoon the turkey mixture evenly onto lettuce leaves. Garnish with cilantro.
